章 190: Something fishy - I

Brooke was a nice girl but she was human, there was one flaw in her that Joyce stated.

Brooke was who tried to remain silent as much as possible. It also meant that at times choice would carry on with talking and it would seem like a friend was not even paying attention.

She needed to make new friends ASAP.

Brooke had gone quiet again after replying to Joyce, once in the past 15 minutes. On noticing what had happened again, Joyce went silent herself, and just waited until their free time would be over. The classes today had a gap of two hours in between them, and she had decided to spend the time with Brooke in a cafe, which clearly had been a mistake.

Joyce decided to set back in her chair comfortably and enjoy her Vietnamese coffee. It was a new obsession for her, and by far, she did not have any idea when she would get rid of it.
