"Welcome back, my darling!" Mrs. Jean happily greeted her son.

  Jerrod hugged her and kissed her on the cheek before whispering, "I may book a flight back if this crowd follows me outside."

"Don't joke like that, sweetie. Everyone is just glad to see you at home. Come on, greet them too."

Jerrod frowned and looked at his father for help, but his father just shrugged his shoulders.

"Mom, I love you, but sometimes I want to pinch your face so hard. Hmp!"

  Jerrod cupped his mother's face and held himself back from getting angry. They never learned to understand him and never considered that they were wrong. He would love to tell his parents that they are one cause of his mental health issues, yet he tries to hold on regarding his parents.

"Oh my, my sweetie is so sweet." Mrs. Jean happily said. She thought Jerrod was just expressing his fondness for her.
