章 151: Scared

Tyler's POV

It was a wonderful day to start the festival, but boarding the float with Regina made me uneasy because I couldn't stop thinking about Arabella.

I was worried about how she would feel that Regina didn't waste any time getting closer to me when I climbed on the float intended for the committee members and some invited guests.

"Hello, Ty; it was such a lovely day to start celebrating this one-week event with you," Regina said right after she made a show of putting her arms around me in front of the vast crowd. 

Pushing her away would cause her another humiliation, and I respect the mayor, and I don't want his daughter to be the talk of the town.

We waved our hands to the onlookers, and I felt glad all our efforts were rewarded. Tourists are all over the area, which is our primary purpose for holding an annual festival.
