I am not afraid of Conrad, but I don't want to make a scene in front of the public and knowing that he was the mayor of our town made me feel guilty that I didn't tell him about Arabella.

He wanted me to marry his daughter, and I didn't even mention that I had someone in my life, even if Ara asked me to keep our relationship a secret at first, for the sake of Anika.

"Tyler, can you explain to me why you are telling me right now that you are engaged to someone else when I saw it in the news you were kissing my daughter?" He asked, and I could see the disappointment on his face.

"It was only yesterday, and now I didn't expect to hear that kind of bullshit. My daughter came home because of you, and I encouraged her because I know you had been single for a while, and it is about time that you should get married without knowing you were playing with my daughter."
