Xenon's brows narrowed at Verothrax, before he passed a glowering look to Ida.

Ida got the message and scurried out of the room, Xenon waited till he was certain Ida had gone far out of earshot before he spoke.

"This destination...it could not have come from my own intent. The portal was diverted, or originally intended for this destination, by you." Xenon said, his tone was certain.

"Why? Why have you brought us here?" Xenon asked in a serious tone.

Verothrax's sinister gaze settled on Xenon, his dark eyes narrowed into a complicated look.

"Why are you so certain it was I who brought us here? Because you are one of those few of our kind, privileged to have never known what the dark tower looks like?" Verothrax asked, his tone as cold and distasteful as it always was.
