Menarx landed to the ground in the wake of his flames, his shoulder ached terribly and Menarx was certain his wound had begun to bleed, 

It was the repercussion of taking dragon form even with his injury, but it could not be helped... Menarx was just glad it was over.

Menarx strode over to where Jian stood with Kaideon, Rodvan and Cassian.

Decaron had also arrived and he seemed to be giving a report to Jian, the young Scabbard dragon and his rider were also there and so was Eidon.

Menarx frowned slightly as all eyes turned to settle on him and his heart dropped instantly, he could already take a guess as there was the obvious absence of the one person he wanted to see.

"Where is Veah?" Menarx asked suspiciously.

"My Lord..." Eidon began but trailed off, having no words to say.

"I made it clear that you were not to leave her side!" Menarx snarled, moving towards Eidon but Jian prevented him with a hand on his shoulder.
