A low growl rumbled out of Menarx's throat, he tilted his head to the side, slowly and in a predatory manner, his fierce gaze settling on Everon.
All that echoed in Menarx's head at this moment was the fact that Neveah was missing and Everon's reasoning was not much appreciated at this time.
"Let go." Menarx ordered directly.
"Tell me what Kirgan has said." Everon insisted, unfazed by Menarx's agitated state.
He still held on to Menarx's shoulder, his grip firm and unyielding.
"She disappeared from the academy...two days ago." Menarx forced out the words through gritted teeth.
Everon breathed a sigh, nodding slowly.
"First, we must receive a full report from Kirgan. It is still not enough reason to jump to conclusions." Everon maintained his stance.
"Everon..." Menarx began in a dark tone but Everon cut him off.
"Listen Narx...we have a mission at hand, one of great consequence. You know this better than anyone."
