***ALEX'S POV***

"I can't find the husband." Jake lamented as he stared at the house. "I need to figure out what he is up to."

"Let me look." I whispered to him as I held my hand out for the spyglass.

"Here." He didn't try to stop me, he handed over the small thin tube readily enough. That was almost too easy.

I took the spyglass, held it to my eye, and looked at the house. I didn't see the husband from where I stood. And I saw that the woman in the house with that hag was not the one from my dream. This one was young, about sixteen, with red hair and a slight build. She wasn't the one that I saw looking for her niece and nephews.

"I don't see him over here. We should circle around the house and look for him." I offered my suggestion without looking at Jake.

"Yeah, we need to find him. That will be the best option that we have right now." He seemed to be thinking the same thing that I was. That was good.
