章 126: Grandmother's Threat.

In Aanya's room, Priyanka found her awake. She sat up on the bed with her legs cupped to her chest. 

"Aanya, what happened?" Priyanka asked sitting beside her. 

"I had a nightmare" She replied, almost in tears. 

"Come, my sweetheart" Priyanka hugged her. She did not ask what it was. Aanya was shivering. "I'm here now. Forget about the dream okay?"

The little girl nodded. 

"The alarm bells are going to ring soon, don't be scared okay?" 

"Yes, aunt Priyanka" Aanya replied. The door of the room opened and a sound. Priyanka was relieved that Karan came to her. He hugged and kissed her. Once the alarm stopped, he asked if she could go back to bed and Aanya nodded. 

It took her no time to fall asleep. 

"Let's go downstairs. You will come back later, okay?" He asked, pulling the blanket up to her chest.
