章 25: New companions

It was nighttime, and after dinner, Hui Jian Yu was sitting in the Jiangxi library of Yinshan. There was a pile of books in front of him. In the light of the candles, Hui Jian Yu was reading books.

His face was shining from the glow of the candles.

His eyes were adjusted to the book in his hand. As he flipped over the page, his brows fiddled. He anxiously brought the book nigher.

His effusive amber eyes widened as he read the description given in the book about the evil and dark cultivation*. Though Hui Jian Yu was unaware of cultivation he was enthralled by the reading.

Gong Ah was sitting quietly aside with a brush in his hand. He was writing something on the copy with black ink.

''Gong Ah, I need some more books''. Hui Jian Yu asked.

Gong Ah got up. ''Your highness, elder master has ordered that you should return to your room and rest''.
