章 451: Touched her body [Bonus chapter]

Jin Yu dabbed the wet cotton cloth ball on the middle of Xiaoming's forehead, who was seated on the mattress of the bed. "You acted like a hero today," Jin Yu said and smiled and then apologized to him for hitting him so hard. "When I get angry, I feel like beating someone," she proclaimed and handed the cotton cloth ball to the maidservant. She left the chamber and the door closed. 

"And you chose to beat your husband," Xiaoming said. 

"I did not beat you. If you had let go of my wrists, I would not have hit your forehead," Jin Yu opined and turned to extinguish a few of the candle flames and lanterns. They had dinner earlier and now they were ready to go to the bed. 

The bedchamber had now only one lantern glowing with two to three candles. Xiaoming took off the overcoat and put it over the chaise. He went behind her with quiet steps when she turned. His sudden appearance startled Jin Yu. "You scared me," she said and rested her hand on her chest.
