With a soft jingle, the front door of the shop opened up, and the sight of a crowd of people moving towards our shop came into view.

"Ah, you guys use sugar—" The grumpy customer came to an abrupt halt when he laid his eyes on Eric.

"Hello and welcome to the Beacon. What can we get for you today?" Eric and Nea spoke up in sync. Knowing them for a while now, I could assure anyone that their voices were hollow! Hollow!

"Uh-um... I'll take a shortcake." The customer fidgeted and shifted their gaze all around the place with a red face.

"May we suggest some Triffle and Mince Pie along with it?" Eric replied. Did I hear a hint of soul in his voice? He was totally bitter about the customer's reaction!

"Ah, whatever! Just quickly give them to me!" The customer's blush deepened as Eric and Nea rushed to prepare his order.
