While he couldn't see their faces, Gus was sure that they had an expression of shock plastered directly on them.

The weapon he had fired was surprisingly loud, considering it didn't actually launch anything physical out from within. Knowing this, Gus guessed that more Bloody Dawn would be at their position in a rather quick time. They could stay where they were and fight any that came their way, but Gus would rather fight the Bloody Dawn by seeking them out on his own terms.
