"You sure you're alright? There's nothing wrong with needing to go to the infirmary," Jessica said. "These things happen. You've been busy today, on an unfamiliar world with conditions you're not used to. Don't try and force your way through anything, you're not immortal."
"I'm fine," Gus responded. "I'm not trying to put on a tough act or anything. I think I'm just a little bit fatigued, nothing more to it."
As she turned to leave, a thought crossed Gus' mind.
"Why are you here?" Gus asked, causing her to stop and turn to face him. "It's a council for the Evolved, and I'm going because I was with one of them before I arrived here. But I don't get why you're here as well."
