"I'm not going to ask much of you here, only that you don't die. Fernando's obviously sent you to be with me specifically for a reason, and I'm not going to let someone from his past die on my watch. But are you sure you don't need any equipment? You look… bare."
"I'll be fine," Gus responded, glancing over to the enforcer that Fernando had called Jessica. He summoned his sidearm into his hand discreetly, acting as though he had concealed it close to his body. "I've got this, and armour will only slow me down."
"Trust me kid, the only thing that going out without armour will slow down is the speed at which your life moves forward. I'm not good at stuff like analogies and whatnot, but you get the point. I can easily grab you something before we head out."
