As their blades clashed, an electrifying tension filled the air. Amidst the intense battle, a fleeting thought flickered through the captain's mind. But only now, in the midst of combat, could he truly comprehend the daunting challenge that lay before him.

All he could do was fixate his gaze on the Uchiha, keenly observing and preparing to react swiftly to any move the opponent might make. It was a battle of wits and instincts, with each moment making the situation much more unfavorable for the Ame Nin.
Fugaku, fueled by an immense surge of strength, unleashed his Genjutsu once again, casting a web of illusion upon his adversary. With a swift and seamless execution of the Body Flicker Jutsu, he lunged towards his foe, closing the distance in an instant.
"Release!" bellowed the Ame Shinobi, his voice cutting through the tension-laden air. Having learned from his earlier bout against Fugaku, he was prepared for the assault, he remained poised and vigilant.
Just as the Sharingan flared to life, the Ame Shinobi unraveled the grip of the Genjutsu on himself, freeing himself from Fugaku's clutches. Swiftly, the Ame Shinobi wove intricate hand seals, channeling his chakra with unwavering focus.
"Water Release: Suiryūdan no Jutsu!" he thundered, declaring the name of his formidable technique.
In response to his call, the Rainwater that had collected upon the ground commenced its gradual migration towards the epicenter of the battlefield. Rainwater converged, coalescing into a magnificent entity—a colossal water dragon. At first, its movements were languid and deliberate, but as it surged forth, gathering momentum with each passing moment, its aquatic form grew in speed and ferocity. With relentless determination, it hurtled towards Fugaku, who deftly weaved through the chaos with his mastery of the Body Flicker Jutsu.
The Ame Shinobi seized this opportune moment, just after a failed Genjutsu as a chance to unleash his Ninjutsu prowess.
He had a very simple plan seeing how the battlefield is an open field and provides no cover for Fugaku, he will be forced to duke it out in a battle of Ninjutsu. And in a Ninjutsu contest, the role of the Sharingan will be diminished to a great degree, and the battle will instead be eclipsed by the individual's Chakra capacity and Ninjutsu mastery.
Fugaku's determination was resolute as he swiftly weaved hand signs, channeling his chakra. His chest expanded, and in an instant, a scorching blaze erupted from his mouth, taking the form of a blazing Gōkyakū in the air. The fire collided with the fierce water dragon, triggering an intense clash.
The clash of fire and water, two opposing forces, generated a veil of searing steam that shrouded the battlefield, obscuring the view for both sides. In the midst of this steam-filled chaos, the Fireball and Water Dragon vanished, vanquished by their own incompatibility.
Simultaneously, water vapor dispersed throughout the battleground, engulfing it in a hazy mist. Nozawa and Sato seized the opportunity and halted their combat, regrouping alongside Fugaku.
Fugaku inquired, "How did it go? Are you confident in defeating your adversary?"
Satomaru's frustration was evident as he responded, vexed by the ceaseless rain. "It will take some time. The weather is working against us. The opposing side is accustomed to this constant downpour. We lack experience when it comes to battling in the Land of Rain."
Nozawa interjected abruptly, adding, "The enemy is attempting to flee. My insects won't be able to restrain them for long."
Nozawa's body once again unleashed a torrent of buzzing insects, creating a chaotic swarm in the air. Seizing the moment, Fugaku swiftly appeared, his hands brimming with shuriken that he hurled towards the enemy Chunins. The shuriken strategically outflanked the three retreating Ame Shinobi, forcing them to defend themselves.
Undeterred, Fugaku closed in on his targets once more, using the power of his Sharingan to unleash a potent genjutsu. Confusion and disarray swept through the Ame Shinobi Chunins, especially among those directly facing Satomaru.
The Ame Shinobi Jonin saw this and driven by pure determination, lunged at Fugaku, aiming to strike his throat. However, Fugaku, with his pre-Mangekyo Sharingan, possessed remarkable insight and mastery over genjutsu. He effortlessly read the movements of his opponent and observed an unsettling, greasy smile on the Jonin's face.
In that fleeting moment, Fugaku recognized a vulnerable spot in the Jonin's mind and emotions and swiftly exploited it, infiltrating his mind, the Ame Jonin was too sure of ending Fugaku that he had a lapse in his concentration. Mere centimeters away from Fugaku's piercing gaze, the Ame Shinobi Jonin froze in place, his eyes devoid of life. He had fallen completely under the spell of Fugaku's Genjutsu, never anticipating that his strike had been a mere illusion crafted by Fugaku, inside the Genjutsu the Ame Jonin had successfully killed Fugaku.
In one seamless motion, Fugaku effortlessly thrust his blade into the heart of the deceived Jonin. As the realization struck the Shinobi, blood erupted from his mouth, a silent testament to his demise. His gaze, fading rapidly, fixated deeply on Uchiha Fugaku, further solidifying the impact of Sharingan in his final moments. However, he would not be granted a second chance.
Suddenly, a piece of text appeared in Fugaku's mind along with a cool sensation entering his body.
