章 47: The traitor

Jessica ran to Steve, "We've found a way out. Just have your people go to where you guys are," she told him and pointed afar at the men telling people to move and follow the rest. Two stayed behind while one was far before them.

Jessica looked around again but Jake and Jenny were nowhere to be found.

She found a passageway and took it. She walked for a while and stopped slightly when she saw her mom beside the door, looking in at whatever was in the room.

Jessica moved nearer and shuddered her mom lightly. She looked up at her, "What's wrong? Why are you here?"

Jenny didn't talk, she only looked into the room.

Jessica followed the path of her gaze and stared at Jake pointing a gun at one of her father's men.

Jessica walked in, "What's wrong here?'

Jake looked up at Jessica slightly, then he looked back at the guys, "Tell Jessica everything you told me."
