Chapter 59: Return to School
~Third POV~
[UA High School, Class 1-A, Japan]
With internships ended, Bakugo roared out loud at Sero and Kirishima about his new hairdo, "Stop laughing! It's just stuck like this, even after a good washing. Keep it up and I'll murder the both of you."
Kirishima and Sero laughed at him in a mocking tone with tears streaming down their faces as they continued, "Bwahahahaha! Really? Really, Bakugo?! Look at that hair!1 It's a perfect 2:8 hair ratio! Bwahahaha!!!"
Mina goes over, talking to Jiro and Tsuyu talking about their internship in an excited tone, "Wow! So you got to take out some villains? I'm jealous!"
Jiro, who was twirling her plug like flexible earphone jacks replied in a neutral tone, "It was just evacuation procedures and logistical support. No real fighting."
Yui soon enters as she chimes in encouraging Jiro in a stoic tone, "Still cool Jiro!"
Seeing the topic go along Tsuyu raising her finger at her fingertips spoke in a blunt tone, "I just did some training and patrol for me. Though one time, we did catch some foreign smugglers."
Mina's eyes shined as she responded in a cheerful tone, "That sounds amazing!!"
Tsuyu soon turns to Ochaco who seems to have gone through a change in a blunt tone asks, "How'd the past week go for you, Ochaco-chan. You were recruited by the Dragoon Hero: Ryukyu, Ribbit."
*Fwoooom*
Ochaco had an indescribable aura shrouding her as she spoke in a determined tone recalling the scene playing in her mind, "It was very… instructive."
Kendo gazed at Ochaco's change commenting with a raised eyebrow, "Ochaco-chan had some kind of awakening?"
Kinoko, to her side, responded with a shrug of her shoulders and replied in a neutral tone, "She was with the rescue and battle hero, right shroom?"
On the side, Denki was eyeing his classmates as he spoke to Ida in a calm tone, seeing such a change, "Such a transformation in just a single week… I was spoiled pretty hard, but I had tons of funds. What about you, Ida how did your internship go?"
Denki genuinely asked his friend, with Ida calmly responding, adjusting his glasses in a stoic tone, "It was… educational, to be sure. A lot can happen in a single week it made me reflect on some of my choices…"
But soon enough, coming through the class, Shinso, Toga, and Ren emerged. Soon, all eyes were on them as Denki spoke in an excited tone, "We saw your rescue in Hosu! That was awesome!"
Kirishima soon interjected, expressing his excitement over the news, "That was so awesome and manly you guys took care of the Hero Killer!"
The two looked a bit embarrassed, Shoto soon spoke, gaining attention as he addressed Shinso and Ren in a curious tone, "How did you find him? I was there. My dad was there too. For him. But you guys caught him first, so… how did you do it?"
Ren gazed at Shoto's expression with slight humor and curiosity. Shinso looked genuinely embarrassed as he spoke in a shy tone, "Uh… it was nothing. It was all thanks to the Class Rep's quick thinking. We merely followed Ida's trail of breadcrumbs."
Shoto attention soon shifted towards Ida as he shrugged his shoulders, now genuinely curious, as he asked Ren, "I saw him out of the corner of my eye and ran after him. But I was wondering now that Shoto mentioned it. How did you find me, Yuki-san?"
All eyes were now on Ren as he casually explained, taking his seat in a calm tone, "It was quite simple. I'm a trained noir detective, deducing that 60% of the Hero Killer's victims were ambushed in alleyways or desolate areas. Then, through the chaos, I lucked out, finding the right alleyway otherwise… well, Ida already knows. Unless – "
Ida raised his arm robotically as a bead of sweat escaped his face as he stoically backed away in an apologetic tone, "No. No, I believe I learned my lesson thoroughly from your beatings. Aizawa and Manual were quite thorough about my lesson. Your [Fist of Love] was enough."
That made him grin as Mina chuckled at such a name, asking in a curious tone, "Hahaha!! Ren-san, where the heck did you get the idea to call your punching people the [Fist of Love]?"
Momo also sighed taking the chance to scold Ren in a lighthearted tone coming closer to him, "Sigh… Class Representative, I know what Ida did was idiotic, but violence isn't the answer to everything you know."
Bakugo, on the other hand, scoffed as he commented in his usual angry tone, "The hell you mean ponytail! If violence didn't help, then clearly he wasn't using enough of it!"
Ren laughed at his comment causing Momo to sigh. But he soon responded having his calmer attitude with her in a chill tone, "Fine. Next time I'll consider it, sorry to worry you about it."
Momo sighed as the topic soon changed duo, with Denki asking in a curious tone relating to the Hero Killer, "Now, while we're on the subject you spoke to him the rightest Ren? I heard over the news that they think the Hero Killer's connected to the League of Villains?"
Upon this topic, Kinoko shivered lightly, recalling the USJ incident as she spoke in a nervous tone, adding, "I hate to think how things could've turned out if a scary guy like him had shown up at USJ that time."
However, it was when Kamanri asked dumbly in a curious tone about the subject relating to the Hero Killer, "Hold on. Sure, he's scary, but did you watch that video, Kinoko? You can see his tenacity. His one-track mind. Kind of cool, don't you think – ah! Ida sorry – "
Ida soon spoke in a calm tone, looking at his left arm, recalling his lesson in a stoic tone, not being too harsh on the subject, "No. It's fine. He's certainly a man of conviction, so if some people think he's cool… I get that. But his convictions have led him to conclude that society requires a purge. And no matter what one's motives are, that's just wrong. So that no others like me emerge and suffer my fate… I will correct my course and walk the path of a true hero!!"
Ren nodded his head taking his seat and returning to the subject of their internships Kendo soon asked in a curious tone getting everyone's attention, "That reminds me. Mirko never interns anyone so how did you get her attention and what was the experience of working under a solo hero anyway?"
Hearing this, Ren chuckled, embarrassed as he responded, acting bashful, "Ah. My internship with Mirko, huh? She was quite the experience."
Ren smirked as he began to explain his experience working under Mirko. Some were surprised at how ruthless her training was both provided good points in fast-paced patrols, understanding the location to better navigate crowded areas.
Soon enough, Ren goes towards Momo and asks in a bit of an embarrassed tone, gaining her attention, "Say, Momo, sorry if I'm asking this out of the blue, but… I was wondering if I can copy your Quirk?"
She blinked, as did the rest of the class, as this piqued their interest. Momo asked, tilting her head, genuinely curious, and spoke, "I don't mind, but wouldn't it have been better if you copied without asking? I wouldn't know if you kept any advantage to yourself."
Rubbing the back of his head, Ren replied in an honest tone, explaining himself to her sheepishly, "Yeah. But I prefer I asked my classmates. If it's a stranger, then I wouldn't, but if I'm using classmates, I might as well ask first. Would seem rude if I didn't try, at least in my eyes."
This caused her to grin as she raised her hand. Momo soon spoke with a light smile on her face, easily agreeing in a cheerful tone, "If that's the case, I'm glad you asked then. To be honest, I'm wondering what my Quirk would look like under your hands with [High Spec]."
Shaking hands, Ren soon used up his slot, gaining Momo's quirk, and genuinely said in a thankful tone, "Thanks, Momo. I owe you big-time."
Upon shaking hands Ren soon used [All in One] to copy Momo's Quirk. He immediately used Skill List to see what he could do.

Ren smirked thanking Momo but before he could continue further –
*Thud*
Everyone immediately got to their seats as Aizawa-Sensei entered through the door wearing his baggy clothes he walked to the desk and stopped in front of the class, addressing them in a stoic tone, "Morning, class. The week's been rough on you guys, and so has it been on us teachers, you'd know if you are up to date with the news."
He eyed specifically Ida, Ren, and Shinso as he said those words. He continues speaking in a stoic tone, gaining the class's attention, "Now from this, we have many things to learn, and such topics issue the regular usage of Quirks while interning with Pro Heroes."
When Aizawa mentioned this, the class knew what he was talking about Ida assumingly but didn't know he directed it to the students involved in the Hosu Incident. But they didn't disagree as the class continued like normal.

[UA High School, Lunch Rush, Japan]
The class was returning to normal again. As Ren was taking his lunch and heading towards the guy's table, Toga grabbed him by the arm as she spoke in a cheeky tone, "Hey Ren-kun, come sit with us! It'll be interesting, come on!"
Gaining his attention and seeing Toga dragging him around, he sighed in a defeated tone, nudging her to continue, "Sigh… fine. But it'll be awkward, Toga. Just saying that now."
She stuck out her tongue as she responded in a cheerful tone, grabbing his arm, "Maybe yes… maybe not. But it'll be interesting to hear what the girls in Class 1-A want to hear from your head Hehe…"
He simply raised an eyebrow as he thought to himself in a confused tone, 'The heck is she thinking about? No matter, Nezu should probably know how to deal with the traitor in our class soon…'
Soon, his eyes drifted to many girls in Class 1-A as Toga dragged him along. Eyes were drawn to him as he couldn't help but think to himself in a nervous tone, 'Welp… this might get a bit much for me. But first time for everything, right?'
