A fantastic writer yet again writes a fantastic story. The world-building, the characters, the plot - all of it. Just wow. I love this romance, and it's written so beautifully. I couldn't step away from this story. It's such an intriguing plot!
Another story I’ve found that was utterly delightful. I don’t know how the author managed to pack so much in such a short story, but I loved it. I will say the positive is it helped me not be utterly frustrated with Tival and Heldon figuring things out. Interesting story happening in the background and the secondary characters were delightful. Sooo worth reading even if it ended too soon. 🥲
This book opened the new realm for me of vampires, werewolves, human magicians and dryads. Initially, I thought only of having a peek of the book, but found myself captivated by it! <Warning: addictive, relatable, funny (yeap, sometimes), romantic> haha. The author has a natural talent of writing creatively, her vast imagination gives a balance of everything. 5 stars! and 5 moons!
I’m opal-led at how much I love the chemistry/tension between Heldon and Tival against the immersive world full of werewolves, family politics and espionage! More. Please.
Ah-may-zing! Every paragraph drives the story more and more, and leaves a twinge of mystery for the coming chapters. Tival is fun and enigmatic, one of the better leads I've seen. I've never met a character quite like him. This book is highly recommended!
I love the moments of tension between the two main leads and being immersed in the vivid story that Carlyle has created. More Tival x Heldon please!!!
Intriguing plot and interesting characters. This story and it’s characters grab you from chapter one. You can’t help but keep reading to see what happens next and when these boys will finally get a clue lol. Great read! Highly recommend!!
Amazing story and great writing! One of the unpredictable twists really made me laugh. Really enjoy the detailed description of the main character's emotions and thoughts, and makes it really easy to relate to the story. Great build-up for other characters too! Looking forward to the relationship development between these characters. Keep up the good work!!
I have an addiction to vampire stories and so far this one is blowing me out of the water I'm enjoying it so much!! It's so easy to lose track of time reading it.
What an interesting book! I was intrigued from the very beginning and couldn't stop reading until I got to the last chapter. Can't wait for more chapters to drop!
Gorgeous prose, easy to read and super sexy. Love to feel the rich inner world of the characters come to life. Beautiful to feel the interpersonal tension. Highly recommend for those new to the genre and avid lovers.
Very exciting beginning! It's a super interesting world, the dynamic between Heldon and his brother is definitely relatable. I'm looking forward to reading more!
As a straight man, I was shocked that even I'd enjoy reading this book! Carlyle's symbolism and creative approach makes some of the characters relatable to everyone! Would highly recommend taking the few hours to read and self-reflect on the overall story

I am OBSESSED with this book. The author has done a great job with the world building for this story and the excellent writing skills draws you in immediately with the first chapter. I cannot wait to see the passion between Heldon and Tival blossom throughout the story 😍😍
this was a really nicely told story about trust and betrayal. I felt that the world could have been a bit more vivid but the characters were mostly lively and well rounded. it made for a nice read.
