Waylen's POV

I walked down the road towards the pack house but before I got there, I could already make out my 'visitor'

He was sitting down under the big tree and he was taking in the scenery.

I moved closer to him, both my hands in my pocket.

I hesitated, I didn't know exactly what I was walking into.

When I was close enough, he turned around and looked at me.

"Hi, Dad"

King Cole looked at me, briefly his eyes scanned my body looking for damages, something I have done with the twins before. I guess parenting doesn't end when your kids grow up.

"Did you run into a wall?" He asked me.

"Yeah. The wall's name is Ari Fire white" I grunted softly as I sat down beside him.

I saw him reach out to hold my hand but halfway, he decided against it.
