Emily's POV.

I sat like a statue by the side of the bed. No! A statue had no feelings or the need to throw up forever while feeling the need to be at two places…scratch that, three places at once.

I felt Joy, sadness and nausea all at the same time.

I grabbed Xavier's hand and I rubbed mine over his. He looked better than he did a few hours ago, at least he wasn't pale.

He was yet to wake up but he was breathing. 

The doctor said it was a miracle and he was going to be alright.

His injuries were superficial. A couple of broken ribs and his lungs were bruised too due to the CPR his father administered. He was a werewolf, those injuries would heal on their own.

But he was my son. His near death experience might have repercussions.

Owen might be a pureblood werewolf but I am half human which makes my children 25% human too. They were heretics like their father and I.
