I looked at her and I understood perfectly.

"Alright Emily, alright but give me one more chance…the ransom they asked for will be delivered in thirty minutes, give me until then sweetheart…let me try first and then you can go to king Cole"

 Emily thought of it before she nodded. "One hour or all bets are off. I need air"

I watched as she turned around and walked out.

I let her go because she was right. My family did this…I did this.

I turned around to go after her but the one they called Dicky got in my way.

"You need to back off Emily, dude…no more hugging or staring at her with longing like she is the love of your life or something. Waylen might not be here right now but…back off or else"

"Else what, Dickson?" I asked.

It was hilarious. He is human, I could simply snap him into two but this weird fellow didn't stand down.
