Emily POV.

I watched him curiously. I knew him well enough to know that he was furious…except he wasn't. It was an alien emotion all together.

I came even closer.

I watched him half expecting him to slap me or punch me for disappearing on him but he simply stood there and I just stared at him.

 He looked every bit as beautiful as the day I ran and I didn't even know how much I really missed him until just now.

His hair was down and his eyes contained a glint of curiosity and hurt. I knew I had been unfair to him but does he know it wasn't intentional? That I didn't have a choice.

(Tell him the truth)

My conscience told me but I couldn't, talking about Owen never got easier even after all these time but damn! How I really missed Waylen?
