"Hmm, 32 hours huh… its quite much shorter than what my vision foretold." said the voice of a feminine young lady that stood in front of a tower's window.
"..." there, in the silence of the night, a man that lurked in the shadows, simply waited for the order from the young lady.
With a smirk on her face and a stare that showed pure interest in the paper that she held on her hand, she turned to the man lurking in the dark and she gave her orders.
"...Proceed with the next trial, and have Boris take on the role of the hunter."
"As you wish, your highness."in that affirmed order, the man disappeared almost immediately…leaving the young lady to her own in the tower.
The young lady then proceeded to move towards a certain wall of her's and there, she stared at the mirror.
With her ever so black hair that was as radiant as a diamond in the night, paired with her snow white-like skin that was showered by the moon's radiant light, she stared at her mirror with her dark-void like eyes, and to it, the mirror was deformed from its orginal matter of function. Instead of simply acting as what a mirror should, the mirror in front of her, broke into a subspace of a path on which she simply strolled into.
There, as she walked into the mirror, on the other side was a whole other land that spoke of nature and fog.
There, she walked deeper into the fog and to it, she was able to meet with a certain ghost that simply sat under a growing tree of powerful presence.
"...You should really stop barging in here with that key of mine. If you don't, who knows if anyone will find you here all of a sudden. Some certain people do make it into the fog, you know." said the ghost.
"Please, like that's possible. The only person capable of entering this place is that him, now that the tree is growing." said the young lady.
"...I still want someone else to come into this place." said the ghost.
"Well you shouldn't. This place is the only place that we can nurture that tree…with the fog's help, no one should be allowed in this domain. If someone were to find its growing nature, not only will it call upon the attention of some powerful humans, but also the inevitable appearance of a god…we should only keep this place between the three of us." said the young lady.
"...How is he?" asked the ghost, looking ever so restless as she looked into the deep parts of a fog.
"He's doing well…better than I expected. There's a small chance that he might fail…but knowing his nature, I doubt that failing the trials is ever a considered idea to him. Rulers have a strong reputation beyond their name…failure is barely within the definition of their existence." said the young black haired lady.
"Good…tell me, knowing your position as the princess of the Crow Talon clan, shouldn't you at least meet with him face to face? It will surely put a more assurance into our relationship with him if he knows about our alliance….about our plan."
"Not yet, he's too preoccupied with the trials…only when he succeeds, will I come and face him." said the young lady who was known as the princess of the Crow Talon clan.
"...I'm just worried that if he comes to hate you after undergoing those dreadful trials, its going to be even harder to build a relationship under that base of occurrences." said the Ghost.
"I don't think that that will be the case, instead, I think he'll just come out stronger. More firm to his role than ever before." said the princess.
"..."
"Also, how would a man ever hate a beauty such as myself?" she said as she posed herself in a confident manner in front of the ghost.
"...Even as a dead women, I can smell the reeking falsehood of that statement."
"Shut up! Its not like you can even put yourself in front of him! A ghost has lost their right to seduction and appeal the moment their bodies were buried."
"...Harsh words…from a virgin."
"SHUT UP!!"
"...Truth cannot be silenced…Truth is simply the truth!"
After fighting and arguing for more than a couple more minutes, the young princess then turned her eyes to the tree.
"...So, how is it so far? Is it growing healthy?" asked the princess.
"Yes, despite its short height, the tree has made considerable growth in the past few days…a couple of months more and it can finally serve its purpose as the next Elthen tree…replacing the one under the guard of Elven King." said the Ghost.
"How much long before the oldest tree dies?" asked the Princess.
"...a couple of years left...during that time, we should do our best in nurturing this tree and keeping it away from the eyes of those Gods and greedy humans." said the Ghost.
"Hmm…to think that it has already been more than a few thousand years since the fourth three has been planted…now that it finally came under the hands of the new Ruler, the tree's legacy might not fall so easily. This world might not end as easy as it should…" said the ghost in relief.
"Its only because of the changing fate…its was the changed destiny that brought that boy here. If it was anyone else, the path would have already been ruined a long time ago." said the princess as her eyes turned to a sombering gaze.
"...The Tarvesin Domain is slowly losing its power to maintain its form…once the tree finally reaches its full growth, this world will crumble."
"I know that…stop reminding me. Its really crazy that this was the world assigned to you by my father…" said the princess.
"Hmm, your father was right to choose this world. With no signs of intelligent life, this world is not something that should be wasted other than being the resource for the fifth Elthen tree." said the Ghost.
"Right...I should go back, it doesn't seem like there's any change in the tree that's worth telling my father." said the princess as she turned her back.
"Okay." there, the princess left the ghost to her own.
Now, as one might know, the place that was visited by the princess was none other than the Tarvesin Domain, one of the most common domains found throughout the gates that appear in the World of Elthen. Some of the many gates that lead to this domain can be found within the academy itself. It acts a place of activity for the students to experience hunting and studying life in another world.
This was also one of the 25 worlds explored by Robert Demero Savez, the great explorer and also the grandfather of Randy Volde Savez herself.
It was the place that Hamil was able to meet a certain ghost where she introduced to him the ability to control the power of Genesis…there, Hamil was able to gift this Ghost the Holy seed he crafted using his own power of Genesis as his first ever chance to use the power.
In time, the ghost had planted this seed and the seed turned into the very tree to whom she protects from all the dangers of all that lives. With the help of the great fog, not one should can ever enter the domain of its grasp without permission from the ghost herself.
That seed… that holy seed, to Hamil's unbeknown creation, was an Elthen Seed capable of being the fifth Holy Elthen tree.
In the world of Elthen, there are four current living Elthen trees under the protection of the four guardians…
The Elves. To where they guard the first ever Elthen tree.
The Elemental Sea King, to whom she guards the second Elthen tree.
The Elemental Wind King to whom he guards the third tree.
And Elemental Earth king, Gordeseus to whom he guards the fourth Elthen tree.
These four guardians protect the Elthen trees from all nature of beings that knew the precious identity of these trees.
The reason why these guardians, protect these trees is because these four trees acts as the lifeline of the world of Elthen.
If one were to die out of an attack from the greed of an enemy, a great natural disaster will occur which will lead to the destruction of a quarter of a planet.
The Enemies in question are none other than the ignorant minds of the humans, the demons that seek the world's end, and the Gods who find the world of Elthen as a nuisance…as an enemy.
Appointed by the Princess's father who is a God, he made a ghost of a mysterious origin to nurture the fifth next Elthen tree to which will replace the first Elthen tree that is in the point of its rot.
By choosing an uninhabited planet, the seed will be planted and to it, the seed will consume the world's potent life source to make it its own. The seed will grown and the world will slowly die. To it, the Elthen tree is valued as a planet and it is used as source of power to continuously grant the world of Elthen life and nurture.
The process of making the seed is simply under the efforts of a chosen hand to which he will be guided by the unknown rules of fate. The person who was given this role to make the current seed was none other than Hamil himself. There was a reason why he was chosen to be the creator of such an important material…and that was because of his fate as a Ruler.
The Rulers were the creators of the seeds. And they too, to their own knowledge crafted these seeds as they were lead by fate. The same as Hami,l each and every ruler were guided by fate to create the seeds.
One would think that if this was the case, then are the Rulers the first people to craft the world of Elthen by that, the first Elthen tree? The answer is no.
Elthen was once not in need of the resource of an Elthen tree…it didn't need the power of an Elthen tree to continue to survive. But through the passing of time, the world was at its end…and to it, the first Ruler, the Intrepid Ruler wanted to save the world.
He called for his God…for his Father for an answer, and to it, Father gave him the power and right to make the seed out of his own power using genesis.
The Father made sure that the tree will suffice the world with its power to continue the world in its own turning, but to it, the Intrepid Ruler knew that if the tree were to ever fall, the world would end…so he hid the tree…he gave it to a trustful ally.
The Elves.
Despite the fact that the elves went to war with the Rulers and they failed, this sense of war made by the two countries formed a bond that lead the Intrepid Ruler to grant the Elves the important mission to guard the tree. To it, the Elves put their lives and efforts to guard the tree from any known nature of being. To the years that has passed, the tree has never been harmed by a single hand or magic. Only the elves have been in touch of this miracle of a tree…
The tradition to make the seed by fate's guide and by the Ruler's hands, made the possibility to nurture three more Elthen trees. And each one was handed to a trusted friend.
Now, it was Hamil's turn and to it, he was able to successfully craft a seed without even knowing that it was filled with a great role.
The seed will grow…and the first tree will die. Just as any form of cycle made throughout the nature's system.
Since the passing of the four Rulers, one would have expected that the value and identity of the Elthen seed would have perished into time to be forgotten, but that wasn't the case with a certain God who knew the circumstance of this seed and its role.
One God that knew of the Seed's identity and Role.
The Princess's Father. A God that was neutral to the war against the rebelling gods and the dictative gods..
To it, fate was made because of his action, because of his role to let the dice of fate make its bet.
That bet turned to Hamil's role to create the seed.
