章 82: Ancient Ruins

Running for half an hour the pair could clearly hear a faint rumbling in the distance, still barely out of reach. It was as if the snake was rushing through tons of different areas as it moved in an almost random direction in search of them.

"Hey, why do you think it isn't getting much louder?!"

"Looks like we moved at the right time! HAHA! It only has a general direction of what way we went! The damn thing will look around aimlessly until it kills something it can blame the death of those eggs on!"

Just as they ran for another full hour, the sound of rumbling slowly died out. Still knowing that the Wrangler moves fast they spent another half an hour running. After pausing and catching their breath and not hearing anything did the pair stop worrying and took the chance to sit down and take a proper rest.

"You think we should sleep now?"
