章 41: New Level

Vain stayed at the base for the rest of the time until the time limit for his time on the level ran out. All he had done during this time was to practice with a gun and make sure he was prepared for what is to come. Talon made sure he could not do anything else other than just those two things.

Finally, two days after Talon's arrival the world around Vain twisted and a library appeared around him. 

"Fuck"

A tentacle entity stood right in front of Vain.

"I'm glad you have calmed down. Welcome back."

"Fuck you... Tell me then where are you going to send me next?"

"Level 8. Now since you are calm enough I will although you to ask a single question before I send you on your way."

"Where is Athena!? What have you done with her!?"

"She is fine and she is currently reading just like she had wanted. She has completed the initiation to become an immortal, so you have nothing to worry about, just be happy she will be happy."
