  "Well, it's about time," she exclaimed wiping her hands on a towel before hurrying over to Ember and giving her a hug which surprised the young woman who shot Leo a shocked look.

"Taylor, sweetheart, don't hug her too tight," Leo advised after chuckling. "She needs to eat something, honey."

Taylor laughed stepping back and ushering Ember over to the table asking a million questions at once, or so it seemed.

Ember answered them without hesitation a soft smile on her face while Taylor fluttered around her.

They had been chatting for over twenty minutes when Alex stormed into the kitchen his mouth tight with anger.

  "Ember ." His sharp tone got all their attention. "Cacy would like you to help her."

Ember nodded her head a blank look settling in her eyes and turning to Taylor, she gave her a quick hug. "Thank you, Alpha Female Taylor ."

"You're welcome, sweetie."
