Yona scowled and turned her face away. What she was expecting from him. He will never confess his feelings to her, so why should her insane heart want to hear them? He doesn't care for her as if she were his love; he's just following the rules.

Fenix was perplexed. He was already struggling. He didn't want to be in the middle of Austin and Yona. He's already done enough with her. It was all his fault; if he hadn't agreed to Kerlin's terms, Yona would not have been killed by her.

But now was not the time to reflect on Yona's past. He must free himself, Austin, and Yona from the curse.

He walked inside the cave, clutching her hands tightly. He followed her into the dim cave.

"Hey! I can't see anything in the dark. Can you slow down your pace?"

She couldn't understand Fenix's sudden behaviour. He was dragging her inside like she was his pet.
