"Are you suggesting we should abandon my son who may I remind you is currently battling against impossible odds for your ungrateful sake?! Just what kind of friend are you?!" Mrs Brunson yelled out her question for Chris, but somehow managed to make everyone present in the room feel as if she were talking to them.

"No!, You don't understand me. I am trying to save Et-" Chris hurried to explain himself some more but before he could finish saying Ethan's name, Mrs Brunson hurled one of her shoes at him with surprising strength and incredible precision.

"Don't you dare say his name, you ungrateful kid!" The woman shouted as she let her footwear fly, giving no damn about the harm her actions could cause the teenager.

Seeing the shoe fly over Chris's head as he instinctively ducked beneath it, everyone came to the same conclusion that, had Chris been hit by that missile, he would no doubt get knocked out flat from the impact.
