章 7: The First Fight
Siera, Ryu and Key immediately stood up from their seats and are on getting on standby with their respective weapons. Woon also began to feel a horde approaching them, he take out both swords from the sheath and become alert. Dan Oh the tiny girl stood upright while holding his bow tightly with both of her hands.
"That's it is!! Crystal mondwat!" suddenly a large number of Cheol troops appeared and were ready to attack them.
"Cih, I forgot to put up a shield to covering its aura," muttered Woon annoyed at the mistake he made. He immediately approached Dan Oh and stood right before her. The man pushed the girl's slowly to be standing right behind him then stretched out his arms to protect the earth girl and shielding her with his body.
"We have to take it, attack them!!!!" shouted the commander of Cheol's army. There are 100 troops on the monster group.
"Don't stay away from me and shut up" the prince warned Dan Oh. The girl nodded slowly and looked so serius right now.
There was a physical stir between Cheol's army and the royal entourage. The Cheols' attack is focused on Dan Oh who carries the mondwat crystal but so far Woon and his comrades-in-arms are still able to dispel them. In an instant Cheol's army had been defeated. But they had not had a time to breathe a sigh of relief, there are reappearing of another Cheol army with a number that was no less than before. Each of the royal troops would have to face at least twenty Cheol troops at once to be able to win over them.
Woon fights with Cheol's army and continues to ensure that the disgusting creatures won't be able to touch Dan Oh while the other four comrades fight elsewhere that are not so far away but still separated from the two. The five fighters showed distinctive fighting styles that were different from one and another.
Ryu fought with an agile and fast movements, he would swinging his axe in all directions powerfully and even occasionally climb trees and deliver air strikes to the Cheol monster. Key looked so strong when she threw her giant boomerang that would instantly split Cheol's body horizontally into two pieces
Gwi didn't look like a person who is fighting, he only moved his sharp fan blade lightly but his movements were deadly. The occasional werewolf focused his unarmed physical attacks by utilizing his powerful fists and sharp claws. The strength of his hand was able to easily break his opponent's bones.
Siera the noble princess looked like she was dancing, her attack movements were so graceful but could easily subvert the opponent. The way she move both of her sharp metal slabs as the weapon seems so magnificent and charming. Every now and then she uses a high-leg kick to take down her opponent.
The prince fought against Cheol's army with a fast and accurate movements. In an instant he was able to drop five of them in one strike of his two swords. There were three more Cheol monster whose were about to attack him from the front. Woon crossed his two swords at one of the Cheols before him then stabbed the other two monster on his right and left sides. But suddenly there was one Cheol monster carrying an axe and was about to attack Woon from behind. Woon is not yet aware of the attack that stalks him, his two swords are still stuck to the Cheol monster who have not fully fallen before him.
"Prince Woon!" cried Dan Oh out loud when she saw the Cheol monster running up to Woon by raising his axe aloft. Dan Oh immediately run over the Cheol with her hands holding the bow tightly.
"Pakk!!!" a loud sound was heard from a large axe hitting on Dan Oh's metal bow. The tip of the axe was right three centi in front of Dan Oh's eyes and looked shiny as it reflected his sharpness exposed to the sun.
The little girl kicked the Cheol hardly and pointed the end of her bow at the terrifying creature in front of her with all her might. Her attack tore through Cheol's skin and provided deeply, long wounds. One Cheol has fallen to the ground after received her deadly attack.
Woon looked back in panic and saw Dan Oh had just managed to defeat one Cheol monster. Dan Oh smiled happily and showed the prince her twinkle of bright face. She felt so proud to have proven her fighting ability as a karate black belt holder to Mirac's planetary prince. But the man didn't seem happy with that.
He looked at Dan Oh with a serious expression filled with a lot of meaning. Suddenly Woon's attention turned to the reflection of a shiny objects from a distance. Dan Oh is unaware that she is going to get shot by an arrow by the other Cheol monster. Woon realized that, the man immediately panicked. His memories suddenly return to the tragic events that befell him on eleven years ago.
Eleven years ago... Woon was fighting with Cheol's seemingly inexhaustible army. The man was so overwhelmed by the endless attacks of the Cheol monster. The more he fought the more he ran out of energy but the number of monsters was even more increased and uncontrollable. The prince was unaware when there was a Cheol monster that would attack him from behind his back.
" Prince Woon!" cried a long-haired silver girl with porcelain skin as she ran behind the prince's back. The girl had glowing green eyes and soft pink lips, she looked so beautiful and really clean despite having fought for days against the seemingly invincible Cheol monster, her name is Pysche.
Pysche blocks Cheol's monster attack on prince Woon with her beautiful bow then kicks cheol's monster hardly and shoots it right in the heart. Her arrow shot was very accurately and pierced through the monster's chest cavity. After one Cheol had fallen there were two more Cheol who attacked Pysche. The beautiful and gentle girl focused on the two Cheols who attacked her and didn't realize that there was another Cheol who was from a distance was aiming at her with their spear arrow.
"swiiiiiiiiiiinggg..... Jleebbb!!" Suddenly a sharp arrow pierced pysche's heart and lit a bright light on the necklace she was worn around her neck.
"swiiiiiiiiiiinggg.... Jleb! Jleb!" There were two other spear arrows that had just pierced through her chest. The attack made the crystal necklace on her chest light up even brighter then extinguished and fell on the ground that became her footrest. Pysche's weakened body fell down on the ground beside her necklace.
Woon who had previously been fighting with the other five Cheol monster turned his head and found Pysche was lying on the ground with three arrows piercing her heart. The prince was panicked when he saw blood pouring from Pysche's body and soaking the surrounding ground.
"We got the white necklace," said one of the Cheol monster picking up a crystal necklace that had fallen on the ground next to Pysche's body. Cheols immediately picked it up and ran away followed by the other troops behind him. They've got their goal. Pysche's crystal necklace which absorbed all his white magic.
"Pysche!!!" Woon cried out in panic when he saw the beautiful girl lying on the ground and striking his two swords on the two Cheols left before him. The prince slashed the necks of the two monster. Woon ran quickly towards Pysche and lifted the helpless girl into his arms. Woon sat limply on the ground with a hysterical look in his eyes. The world around him felt like it had collapsed and fallen apart. The other entourage that had just defeated cheol monster before him immediately ran towards Woon who was hugging Pysche's weak body tightly.
"Prince Woon..." Pysche breath heavily and talked with her voice which become weaker around the passing time. There was a bloodline dripping from both ends of her lips. The girl tried to reach for Woon's rosy cheek. The prince looked at her with a look of horror and a frightened eyes as Pysche's body weakened further. Before the young girl even managed to raise her hand and hold Woon's cheek, the white pale hand had fallen limply to the ground and there was no more movement from Pysche
"Pysche... Princess Pysche..." Woon called out to her slowly and shook the body of the girl who had weakened gently. Like he was holding a fragile icy glass. There was no answer or any movement from Pysche
"Pysche!!!" the prince screamed loudly realizing that the silver-haired girl's soul was no longer remain in her body. That girl had left this world forever. Leaving Woon who started crying out his tears because of his deep sense of loss and destruction. The world in Woon's heart has met with its final destruction, there is no more ray of life left in him.
Woon returns from his memory and sees Dan Oh the planet Earth's girl standing tall looking at him with a big smile on her face. The little girl was unaware of any arrows being shot toward her. Woon immediately ran towards her in full a force. There was a sense of horror in his heart. He didn't want the events that used to happened before him has to repeated again and become his worse nightmare.
"Swiiingggg...." There was a hissing sound of arrows that had just been released by the Cheol army. Woon holds both of Dan Oh's shoulders and pushes her down on the ground hardly.
"Srakkk!!" The arrow hit the side of Dan Oh's arm. She fell due to a strong push from Woon who was now also falling on top of her tiny body. She is really shocked by the event which just happened before her.
