章 76: Be Friendly
"Are we going to go to the office today??" asked Charlie as he drank his orange juice.
"No, I am sure that Dom had already left for the office early" said Michael.
"Besides, let's just let him work today, before he accuses us all of distracting him" said Michael as he yawned.
"Yes, you are right" said Charlie.
"Well I have nothing at against doing nothing at all today" said Charlie as he laughed.
"Well do that and we might get fired" said Nine as he poured himself a glass of orange juice.
"Oh fired my foot, Grandfather can never fire us" said Charlie.
"Oh what makes you so sure?" asked Nine.
"Well in his own words and I quote "I have wasted too much money and resources on you all for you to make waste of those resources" said Charlie as he laughed.
"Wow most Grandfathers would say I love you, but not ours, he is always so strict" said Michael as he laughed.
"He would rather say I love you to a stick rather than to us" said Nine.
"You speak truth Nine, you speak truth" said Michael as he laughed, he could already envision Grandfather saying I love you to a literal stick than to them, that was just how he was.
"So are we going out today?" asked Charlie.
"No Charlie, I am going nowhere at all, today is a stay at home day" said Michael.
"Please tell him Michael tell him" said Nine as he sighed.
"Gosh you two are so annoying, what is your deal? Can you not have fun for once??" asked Charlie.
"If by fun you mean running all around the face of the earth, then I would rather not have fun" said Nine.
"Yeah yeah, of course you say such" said Charlie as he scoffed.
"Mhmm" said Nine as he was not budging at all.
…
"I have good news my baby" said Natasha as she smiled as she and Joy were having breakfast.
"What is it mommy??" asked Joy as she giggled, she liked seeing her mother smile.
"Well my baby, we can go and see the School on Friday" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Isn't that great??" asked Natasha.
"Yes Mommy it is" said Joy as she smiled, even though Natasha knew that she was not as enthusiastic as she wanted her to be.
"Is something wrong my baby??" asked Natasha as she looked at Joy.
"No… nothing is wrong mommy" said Joy as she looked at her mother.
"But you don't seem happy my baby" said Natasha.
"I am happy Mommy" said Joy.
"Is daddy coming with us?" asked Joy.
"Ahhh, now I see" said Natasha to herself as she smiled, now she knew why Joy did not seem very happy."
"Yes my baby, your daddy is going to come with us" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Really mommy??" asked Joy with wide eyes.
"Yes my baby" said Natasha as she smiled even more.
"Yayyyyyy" said Joy as she laughed, she wanted her daddy to come with them, so they could all go together.
"Yes my baby" said Natasha as she laughed.
"So when we take a tour of the school, and if we like it, and you like it, then you can start school the next Monday" said Natasha as she smiled.
"But Mommy, I do not know anyone there" said Joy as she looked sad.
"Oh but you do my baby, Ethan goes to that School too, even though you will be in different classes" said Natasha.
"Really mommy??" asked Joy.
"Yes my baby, but my baby, you can make new friends your age" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Mommy how do I make new friends??" asked Joy as she looked at her mother.
"Well my baby, by being friendly" said Natasha as she smiled.
"You can be friendly when you always smile at others, you are nice to others, and you have good manners, then you will be friendly and people will like you" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Okay Mommy, I get it now" said Joy as she nodded her head.
"Yes my baby" said Natasha as she laughed and she tickled Joy which made her laugh.
"In school you learn your ABC's your 123's and also nursey rhymes and all" said Natasha as she smiled.
"But Mommy I already know my ABC's and I can count up to 50" said Joy as she looked very proud of herself.
"Oh I know that you can my baby" said Natasha as she laughed.
"But there is no harm in learning even more" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Okay Mommy" said Joy as she smiled.
"Mommy, I am full" said Joy as she could not finish her piece of toast and she put it back down on the plate.
"Can I go and watch Tv now?" asked Joy.
"Oh alright them my baby, you can go" said Natasha.
"Thank you Mommy" said Joy as she pushed out her chair.
"You are welcome my baby" said Natasha as she smiled at Joy as Joy walked out of the dining room and smiled back at her.
"Madam are you done eating?" asked Alfred as he walked into the dining room.
"Yes Alfred, you can clear the dining table" said Natasha as she smiled as she drank her tea.
"Alright then Madam" said Alfred as he smiled and he began to gather all the plates.
"Ahh Madam, before I forget, the Old Master called, he said that he wanted to speak to you" said Alfred.
"And what did you say?" asked Natasha as he face went very serious.
"Well during the time he called you were not around, you had gone out for your morning training, so I told him that you were unavailable" said Alfred.
"Yes… that was a good reply, thank you Alfred" said Natasha.
"You are welcome Madam" said Alfred as he smiled and he walked away.
Natasha sighed, she did not think that she was ready to deal with Grandfather anytime soon, and hence why she was going to avoid him, Grandfather was very dangerous, he could say anything to coax her, and she would feel at ease only for a while before reality hit her again.
She was not going to pass through that once again in this new life of hers, so she was going to avoid anything and anyone that would make her suffer, and that included everyone that resided in this house.
Natasha picked up her phone from the table and she dialed a number.
"Hello" said Natasha as she smiled as her call was picked.
"Can you come over today?? I have and offer for you" she said to the other person on the line.
"Yes that time is perfect!" said Natasha as she smiled.
"See you then" she said as she ended the call.

Later that day.
"Madam, Mrs. Thompson is here" said Alfred as he walked into Natasha's office.
"Please let her in" said Natasha.
"Alright Madam" said Alfred as he nodded and he closed the door behind him, and a few minutes later the door was opened and Chloe walked into Natasha's office.
"Good Afternoon Natasha" said Chloe as she smiled.
"Good Afternoon Chloe" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Please sit" said Natasha.
"Thank you" said Chloe as she sat down with a smile.
"I was very surprised when I got your call, I did not think that you would be so fast" said Chloe as she laughed.
"Haha true, but well I believe that I found the perfect job for you" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Okay let's hear it" said Chloe as she smiled.
"So recently I purchased a company, it is an agricultural produce company that specifies in supplying fresh farm produce such as vegetables and fruit, to stores households and so on" said Natasha.
"Wow" said Chloe as she was surprised, she never knew that Natasha was so business minded, it surprised her, Natasha was even younger than her, and yet here she was already owning her own company, it was just truly surprising.
"Yes" said Natasha as she smiled.
"So the company I bought was not a new one, it was an already stablished business, and what I am trying to do is to rejuvenate the business, seeing as it was failing" said Natasha.
"I already have staffs that I retained from the former owner, but you see some people have problems adapting to a new change of ownerships, they demand that things be run the same way that they were when they were still under the old owner, which is impossible since I have plans and goals for the business." said Natasha.
"I can just imagine that" said Chloe, people were really stubborn, they found it hard to change and adapt to new situations.
"Yes, and so I need someone I can trust, someone new that is on my side, and in my corner" said Natasha.
"Which is why, I thought of you" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Me??" asked Chloe as she was surprised.
"Yes you" said Natasha as she smiled.
