章 97: It's A Date

Iris was lying flat on her back, staring on the ceiling without a clear thought in her head. With what had happened for the last two days, the life she had in the mansion where she thought she was going to rot forever felt like a distant past. She no longer felt like she belonged to that part of her life. 

She left a small gap in her bedroom window and the breeze from the outside entered the room, blending with the cool air from the air conditioner that she had running on seventeen degrees. 

Lifting her arms that was lying on her either sides in front of her face, studying the shapes of her fingers, her knuckles, and the lines on her palm as though she just had seen them for the first time. 

She had been thinking what she should do now with her life. She had a taste nof what it felt like to be pursued with those vampires and she did not like the experienced.
