章 23: Kara

Koji and Ryu exchanged glances.

The two kids grabbed the other one. They looked at Ryu. They could not leave him be.

Koji misunderstood that Ryu might not join them as he could not let someone get away who knows about kara.

Koji looked at the kids and spoke: " I can't let you all escape."

Koji had intended to kill them. He wasn't like Jiraiya in that he was willing to be cruel if necessary.

Ryu knew that he might need to battle with Koji one-on-one, but he wanted to avoid it, so he said: "I'm going to erase this kid's memories. Then I don't think you'll have any issues, do you?"

Ryu's words caught Koji off guard. But Ryu was still a problem, and he couldn't put his faith in him.

"How are you supposed to do that?" said Koji as he began walking towards them.

Ryu saw Koji approaching him and said, "I'll use my keke-genkai."

Koji was now curious about the keke-genkai that could erase memories, and if Ryu's words were true, he would be a huge help in eliminating Jigen.

After considering Ryu's Keke-genkai's benefits, Kajin came to a halt and said, "Prove it to me, erase their memories."

Ryu closed his eyes as he heard Koji's words. His eyes were red with black tomoe after he opened them. He activated his sharingan and looked at the children, erasing their memories in the same way that Sasuke had. The kids had no recollection of Kara's involvement and had also forgotten about Ryu.

The children were knocked out. Koji analyzed the events that had just occurred in front of him. In Ryu's eyes, he saw Sharingan. He knew Ryu would be of great assistance because Ryu was an Uchiha, but the problem remained if Ryu would join them.

Koji had many questions but that were for later.

Koji fixed his gaze on Ryu and asked, "Do you want to join kara?"

Ryu was looking for this opportunity and approached Koji with the following question: "Will joining your group help me become stronger? If you can pull that off, I'm all in."

Koji didn't expect it to end without a fight, but he was surprised not to have to fight him. "You will have the opportunity to be the strongest, or if not, one of the strongest in the world,"

He couldn't help but smile when he was able to enter and replied to him: "I will accept your answer, but how can you help me get stronger, and, most importantly, what is your overall goal?"

Ryu didn't want to raise their suspicions by making it too simple. As a result, he asked him reasonable questions.

Koji was expecting the question. He replied: "Jigen created Kara in order to obtain his vessel. Its goal is to find a vessel and protect it for Otsutsuki Ishikki's revival."

Ryu made a suprised expression eventhough it was fake: " So, you want to find or protect the vessel, Did I get that right."

Koji smiled at Ryu and said, "It's Kara's goal." and took and pause before continuing , " If Ishikki is resurrected, the world will end. In Kara, there is a group of people who wants to get rid of him."

Ryu asked, with a complicated expression, "So, are you from that group of people?"

Koji was surprised that Ryu had figured it out so quickly with so few clues and responded, "Yes, and our group is the one you would need the most to gain power."

Ryu pretended to think for a moment before responding, "Exactly how are you going to help me get stronger?"

Everything was going well and Koji responded, "Your body will be modified. You will experience incredible increases in stamina, chakra, strength, and other areas that you cannot even fathom."

Ryu paused for a moment and looked at AO before responding, "Like this guy who is now 5 feet under the grave."

Kahin koji turned to face Ao and said: "He's trash. There will be nothing like him on your body. You will have human-like muscles. Consider having a genetic change."

Ryu paused for a moment before asking, "Can I add my requirement to make it a custom modification?"

"Yes, you can provide a list of custom requirements, and modifications will meet those," Koji said.

Koji went over the details of the modification with Ryu, who thought about it for a while. He wanted a custom modification but couldn't think of a way to join Kara, but now he has the opportunity. He was going to get involved with Ishikki, but he could also get Karma. That was not what he wanted, but it was what he had to risk with.

Ryu was thinking about several things when said, "I will be joining you on your secret mission. I am now a Kara member."

Koji smiled at Ryu's words and said, "Then let's go meet Jigen, Kara's boss."

Ryu agreed with a nod of his head.

Ryu knew Koji could be trusted and would be his enemy until he posed a threat to their mission. Ryu was now looking forward to meeting Jigen and, later, Amado. He had his modifications planned out. He needed Jigen's permission. He was confident that he would accept him after his changes. He intended to remain there.

He intended to flee after Jigen directed Boro to eliminate all members who were stronger than Jigen. Jigen gave Code the option of accepting limiters. It was also a great opportunity to flee without being pursued by leaves or other villages.

Concerning Ryu getting karma, It was a source of concern for him, but he couldn't do anything about it. So he decided to have Codes' DNA implanted in him. He hoped it would help him get a white karma if he was given one, but he knew it would only give him a slim chance of success. He needed to find other ways to assist him in obtaining white karma.

He intended to undergo the same transformation as Code. It was the best one and also intended to add Hashirama's cell. He also desired something that would allow him to store Sharingan in his body and switch it out whenever he pleased.

He knew Amado would make it in the better version of what Ryu imagined. He was looking forward to it.
