章 15: Jogan
After Orochimaru lost consciousness, Ryu's eye had blood flowing out of it.
'I think I pushed myself too hard with that genjutsu'
Ryu walked towards Orochimaru and confirmed that he was unconscious.
He called the ninjas that were patrolling outside and ordered them to get Orochimaru. The ninjas took Orochimaru's unconscious body and took him to the hospital.
Orochimaru was treated and needed about a week to recover. Others would have needed more time, but Orochimaru had altered his body with hashirama cells and other things Ryu was unaware of.
Ryu had a lot of paperwork to complete, and he didn't want to do it, but he didn't have a choice. He created shadow clones to expedite the paperwork.
He was looking for someone who could run the city without him.
He didn't have any idea about it. He needed someone trustworthy. He needed to leave the city for the next phase of his plans. He wanted to reunite Shin, Orochimaru, and one or two others to make sure the city was safe from bandit attacks and other possible invasions.
He just couldn't leave the city freely. He was thinking of possible people that could fulfill his role.
While Ryu was pondering, a "Knock!" was heard from the door.
"Come in."
It was one of his ninja. He was holding a scroll.
"What is it?" Ryu
"Lord Ryu, A message was sent from the leaf village "
The ninja put the scroll on Ryu's table.
Ryu opened the scroll, There was a message written in it.
They were sending help to the Land of waves, 5 great ninja nations sent resources to support the city. They were sending food, construction materials, metals, fresh drinking water and others. They wanted to help probably because It was caused by an Otsutsuki.
They would appear in the village tomorrow. The travel time was not too long. There are going to be some ninjas, and the ninja in charge is Kakashi katake, and Konohamaru is escorting him. They are also bringing students from the academy. They will help the villagers during the time they are here.
I will have a mask on like Kakashi, I won't like him seeing my face. This place surely holds memory for him.
I ordered the ninja to inform the guards about their arrival. They will be escorted to meet me after their arrival, and they can carry on with their activities.
"Yes, lord"
I could look forward to it. I hope to have a sparring match, It would be a great experience.
Ryu continued with his paperwork.
The following day, Kakashi and the academy students arrived. They were being escorted to Ryu.
"So, this is what land of waves looks like?"
"It's my first time going outside the city."
All the students were chattering.
Kakashi was looking around the city.
They arrived at the great naruto bridge.
"Hey, look over there."
"Great Naruto bridge."
"Does that mean Lord seventh had been here too."
Sarada looked at Kakashi.
All of them were expecting an answer.
Kakashi opened his mouth after looking at the gazes falling on him.
"We were on our first real mission here."
Everyone wanted to know more. He vaguely told the story.
They people were getting through the village, they saw destroyed houses. The village was a mess.
"Why is the village like this."
The ninja in charge replied, "There was a large scale battle here, Two people fought with each other, After one lost, other arrived and chased the other one away."
They had a single thought that came in their mind, 'What kind of battle could cause damage in such scale.'
Kohamaru asked the ninja, "Is the lord of the waves not doing anything to help them."
"The previous lord did nothing to develop the village, but a couple of days ago, a new lord took over. He is putting effort into the village."
"A new lord?" Kakashi
"The old lord was on his deathbed, so before his death, he appointed the most powerful ninja as the lord of waves. He owns the land of waves as of now." Ninja
Kakashi had feeling that something wrong was going on here, but he knew he couldn't interfere with other village's matter.
He just sighed and was looking forward to meeting the new leader.
They arrived at the hall that was the place for meeting.
After they arrived, a young man with a mask like Kakashi walked in, He looked young, he was just 15.
He wore a robe that had lord of waves written on it. The students also were suprised that a person few years older than them was lord of waves.
"I am the ruler of the land of waves, It my pleasure meeting you all." Ryu was being polite.
Kakahi was about to speak when he heard,
"This kid who is just a few years older than us is lord, guess it no big deal to be one." It was Boruto that spoke that, he just offended him.
Ryu was annoyed as hell, he veins popped. Kakashi was getting a bad feeling about it. Kakashi was about to apologize for Boruto when he heard,
Ryu said in a mocking and annoying tone, "You must be the son of the great hero of the leaf, saviour of the world, the seventh hokage and grandson of the yellow flash of leaf, the fourth hokage, and the descendent of the uzumaki that resided in the land of waves, the great uzumaki clan, But what was your name again? I guess you don't really have an identity to make me remember your name. "
He hit the weakest spot in Boruto. Boruto was looking to be himself and not recognized by his family, but he said what Boruto didn't want to hear and in the grandest way possible.
Everyone looked at Boruto and started laughing without even thinking of holding back. They also found Boruto to be annoying, due to the troubles he caused during the classes.
Boruto was shocked and pissed. He couldn't take him being a laughing stock in front of all the people.
"Hey, If you have guts battle me, If I win, I will be the lord of the waves." Boruto has now lost it completely.
Ryu had an evil smile on his face.
"What do a brat, who is nothing but a brat give to me, if i win." Ryu mocked Boruto again, making him even more pissed.
Everyone was laughing even more loudly now.
"Whatever you want." Boruto was annoyed as hell.
"If I win, give me your right eye. but I guess you won't hae enough guts to do so." Ryu was mocking him even more.
Ryu thought It was the perfect opportunity for him to have jogan.
Boruto frowned but he was not in his right state of mind, looking at all the students laughing at him.
"I..I agree!"
Kakashi wanted to interfere but felt it would not be a good choice. He felt that it could cause a war to happen. His instincts were saying so to him. He also wanted to let Boruto know that he couldn't always have his way. He didn't know that Boruto had jogan. It was only later in the series that it was discovered. Boruto didn't know of Jogan's existence.
Kakahi never really thought that he would really take his eyes, as it was useless, just a normal eyes according to him.
"Follow me!" Ryu took everone to the arena, boruto and Ryu were on the battle stage. Staring at each other.
Their battle began,
