章 32: Drugged?

"Drugged?" Alison repeated, her voice rising incredulously, "He was drugged?!"

Zachary nodded solemnly. 

Never would he forget the sight of Damon stumbling down the corridor with blood dripping from his hand. 

"Uh uh, find another excuse," Alison waved her hand like she was swiping a tinder profile away, "Sienna won't believe that."

Zachary's jaw dropped, "But it's the truth!"

Alison opened her mouth to argue and then paused, studying him closely. 

In the silence, her hazel eyes were bright and sharp as they scanned him clinically. 

"Alright," She seemed to believe him, albeit grudgingly, "But she's going to need better proof."

Moving their food aside, they got to work, organising evidence and prepping each other for their respective best friends. 

If anybody was asked how two top executives who were sought after by men and women spent their evenings, they would guess that they had fancy dinners and expensive dates.
