章 23: Promise, Bracelet, and Ring

Lincoln paces back and forth inside his condo unit. It's been three days since he last saw Tiffany when the incident happened. His mother told him to let her be for a while and end everything or anything that's going on between him and Samantha.

Rubbing his jaw, he hastily picked up his phone which laying peacefully on the bed. He immediately dialed Tiffany's number. The feeling of uneasiness won't let him go to sleep. 

He was about to press the call button when all of a sudden the doorbell rang. Lincoln heaved a sigh as he put down the phone back in its place. Slowly, he walked towards the door and pull it open for whoever was on the other side. 

Samantha appeared in his vision. She was wearing a low-cut blouse paired with a knee-length skirt and red-bottomed white heels. Her make-up was fierce. The red lipstick added some spice to the overall look as her hair was curled.

"Hey," Samantha greeted while clutching the handle of her shoulder bag.
