As Leo walked toward her, the girl got even more scared.

She closed her eyes as she threw her face on Xue's chest while hugging her tightly.

Leo was confused by this reaction yet again.

For some reason, she wanted to stay away from him.

Also, the childish behavior was weird.

Until now, Enma, Nova, and his other friends, who were ten years old as well, didn't seem that immature. However, this little girl seemed scared and her voice seemed quite feeble. It was as if she was never allowed to mature.

Leo decided to calm himself.

He was a grown-up man in his mind and in front of him, the little girl was indeed a child. Hence, he decided to talk it out nicely.

"Listen to me Yun, I have to know why you are scared."

"I am not terrifying and I won't harm you. Believe me…", Leo said as he moved his left hand forward.

Yun turned her gazes at him, looking at his hand - it resembled a beast's limb from her perspective.
