"So you guys are finally going back to Mangrove?" Micheal asked my husband but he hesitated to respond. 

My eyes instantly drifted toward my husband. He was staring flirtatiously at a woman by the far right corner. I looked back at Micheal forcing a smile that even a stranger could tell my smile wasn't genuine, but I pretended. My body starts to quiver. The glass of wine I was holding spilled on my body, I couldn't take in all that insult from Jeremy. I was suffocated.

"Gwen." Cassie rushed to where I was and help my frozen ass up. She walked me to the restroom and cleaned me up. 

"Is it all just in my head?" My lips mumbled words my heart didn't believe. 

Jeremy and I have been married for five years. The first year wasn't as great as what newlyweds often say or was it mine that was different?
