章 130: Favor

Silence occupied Crown Prince Owine's chamber following Lady Vanora's unexpected response. As the Lady's words were too surprising to him, Owine Varence ended up staring at the former instead of speaking up. However, his gaze was quite observing.

After what seemed to be forever, the Crown Prince rose from his seat and approached Vanora Asral who was calmly exchanging his gaze all the while. "This is not like you at all," he said when he stood right in front of her. "Why are you being like this?"

Lady Vanora narrowed her eyes and said nothing, much more like she refused to. This made the usually patient Crown Prince lose his patience quickly.

"Answer me," he demanded yet tried his best to not raise his voice. He waited again and indeed heard her voice this time, but it was not the response he had waited for.

"Can you promise me one thing?" Vanora Asral asked him instead and continued, "If I manage to cure you, can you grant me a wish?"
