Alex Wayne POV
I was in the command room with the other Council members as we watched the invading fleets
I had to say that the invaders had strange ships, they were like amphibious ships but too ostentatious.
"Shall we start the attack?" Magneto asked.
"No, since those ships won't attack us yet" I said with a smile
When I finished speaking, the enemy ships had stopped some 50 miles off the coast of Genosha.
At that moment I received a video call and I calmly answered it.
The image on the screen in front of us changes to show the face of a being with a large head and a small body sitting on a floating throne.
I recognize him, he is M.O.D.O.K.
Without going around the bush, I ask him:
"Why do you come to our country?"
"At last, I meet you Alex Wayne, you have been a great annoyance for my organization" M.O.D.O.K. said ignoring my words.
Acting ignorant, I ask him:
"What organization are you talking about?"
"It seems that your arrogance has made you forget us, but let me refresh your memory, we are from A.I.M." M.O.D.O.K. said giving me a look full of disdain.
"I see, so you're part of those idiots. Then why don't you attack at once and stop your nonsense?"
"I am speaking to you to give you the chance to surrender and serve A.I.M." M.O.D.O.K. said.
Everyone in the room, especially Magneto, got angry at M.O.D.O.K.'s words.
"So what do you say?" M.O.D.O.K. asked ignoring the indignant looks of the Council members.
Smiling slightly, I say:
"I refuse"
"I see, it's really a pity but once I destroy you, I'll keep the survivors and use them as slaves" MODOK said showing a cold and indifferent look.
My eyes got cold and in a monotonous way, I say:
"Then attack, because the only thing that awaits you is despair"
And I cut the communication.
"So what do we do now?" Irene asked.
"Nothing, let's wait for them to start their attack and then I'll show them what it means to feel despair" I said as I got up and left the place towards the Genosha coast.
The Council members looked at each other and decided to follow me.

50 miles from the Genosha coast
On a ship
M.O.D.O.K. was upset, at first he wanted to convince Alex to become his subordinate.
But seeing that the negotiations went awry, he says to his subordinate:
"Contact Taskmaster and tell him to launch the energy warheads"
"Yes sir" the subordinate said and communicated with Taskmaster.

Somewhere in the Pacific Ocean
On a Military Submarine
Taskmaster has just been ordered to attack Genosha with the energy warheads.
The energy warheads are very special ballistic missiles created from the energy of the Cosmic Cube.
Each missile has the power to destroy a small city with ease.
"Launch them" Taskmaster said to one of the men in the sub.
The man nodded and began the launch sequence.
At the end of the sequence, a total of 15 missiles were launched from the submarine.
Which traveled towards Genosha.
