'Knock! Knock!'

A loud, insistent knocking pulled her from sleep. 

Aylin sat up and rubbed her eyes as she mumbled in a sleepy and thick voice, 'Who is that!' 

The bright ray of the sun was peeping inside the room through the thin drapes of the windows, filling the room with its warm glow. The room was looking brighter and larger than last night.

Her light gold eyes were observing the unfamiliar surroundings as she was trying to recall where she was. Once again, the horrid face of that woman and her growling like a thirsty beast flashed inside her mind as she quivered in terror. While rubbing the bare skin of her neck, she hastily got down from the bed.
