"Are you ok?"

Damien whispered into her hair as he looked down, slightly moving backwards. 

Aylin was too startled to react or answer him. In response, she only nodded her head positively. But, the concerns in his green eyes didn't disappear instantly.

He asked again in his husky tone, "It didn't scratch or bite you. Right?"

His face was only inches away from her. His breath was warm and moist against her face and her heart raced. But, gulping nervously, she only answered in brief, "Yes! I am alright."

He covered her with his body as he helped Aylin to stand up. But, Dan didn't let her go. He was still holding her protectively, wrapping her in his embrace. Rio also stepped forward to hold that woman as he shouted, "Dn, step back. It is after you."

Dan instantly ducked to avoid her swiping claws and pulled Aylin along with him. Everything was happening so fast that Aylin got puzzled.
