Or that he'd discovered the source of all power in this world in the form of a tree that grew from his sacrifice.

Or that he'd just successfully siphoned away some of Wren's excess Disorder without his knowledge or permission.

And he certainly acted as if he wasn't going to do it again every chance he got today.

If he could take enough, and if he could make Wren feel real enough, Rowan was certain that the energy in Wren's head would leave him alone so he could give into the sleep his body required.
