Rowan erupted into laughter at the way Yamm had posed the question. It sounded like the god was asking him what he wanted to be when he grew up. All that was missing was a pat on the head to go along with the indulgent tone of his voice.

"What? You mean I get to choose what kind of god I'll become? I had no idea that's how it worked." Rowan said when his laughter died down, then immediately started laughing again because he couldn't control it.

The idea of him becoming divine in any way was still the most ridiculous thing in the world to him, no matter how many times Wren or Yamm or anyone else acted like it was all a completely normal turn of events.

Yamm chuckled at Rowan's outburst, which honestly took Rowan by surprise as much as it did the god. He just felt so *happy* with the way the evening was going, he couldn't help but take everything in stride.
