Blanca held her composure until she had reached her private quarters on the villa's second floor. Once inside, she leaned against the closed door and let her sweet repulsion leak out of her in a shudder. At least she was getting better at the charade of ignoring Dimitri's kisses. There was a time when she might have had to bite back a moan.

Dimitri took the call from Liam, and, typical of him, the man disappeared again.

However, her skin shivered everywhere Dimitri had touched her. She could still feel his hard fingers on her body, on her waist, on her lips. The allure of his sensual smack to her backside burned her face as much as it burned her ass.

To be fair, in many ways, Dimitri did own her. Her life. Her freedom. Her unique abilities, her vampire senses—the things that first brought her to his attention five years ago. He owned all of that, no matter how much she ignored him. She belongs to him and only to him.
