章 127: "I love attractive men."

Robert cuddles Mila, snatching her breath and the warmth from her skin. 

Mila has her guard up for so long that, for the first time, her defenses are suddenly reduced to paper, paper that is being wet by the quickly descending saline drips. She has melted into Robert's shape before she can draw in the air her body needs. 

Mila can feel Robert's strong torso and his beating heart. His hands are wrapped around Mila's back, giving her light kisses.

Mila can feel her body trembling, grieving for the time they will never get back, crying to let go of the stress of these three long years. Mila pulls her head back, but Robert pulls her back to him, wiping her tears away with a calloused finger, and even this roughness provides more solace than her heart can handle.
