章 21: ALL ALONE!

"He is not here! Where could he have gone to just now?' Mahina asked herself mentally as she looked around her. She called out his name a couple of times but he didn't answer. He probably went out she thought. Maybe to the kitchen? She wagged her head as she walked to the closet to search for one of his shirts yet again to wear. When she got there she found that a whole section of the closet was packed with pretty dresses. She was awestruck at the sight of the fabulous fashion wears in front of her.

"Oh my gosh these are all beautiful but they weren't here yesterday." She bit her lips at the realization that the clothes might be for one of his many women that he brings in and out of his mansion. She creased her browse when she remembered Helena Garcia of Glitz shoes and bags. He probably treats every woman that comes into his life like Helena. What a Casanova. She turned away from the clothes and grabbed one of his big shirts and wore it. I refuse to be like one of his many women that he uses and dumps as he so pleases. She got out of the walk-in closet and went to seat on the bed.

Mahina got so bored that she wished she was with her bestie Dora. It was then she remembered she had a communicating device called a smart phone. She searched everywhere for it but couldn't find it. Mahina got tired of raking her brain and searching to find her smart phone. She slumped by the bed groaning and murmuring when she caught sight of the big Plasma TV on the wall. She got up swiftly from the bed and went to turn it on.

"Oh its Tom and Jerry. It should calm my nerves for a while. She thought as she made herself comfortable on the bed.

"Dora will love it if we watched this together. It's too bad I don't know where she is, heck I don't even know which part of this building I am at right now. All I know is that I am in Alba's bedroom." Mahina complained to herself while watching the Tom and Jerry show grumpily.

Arlo, Axel, Ford and Dora were at the garden chatting and having fun. Arlo was busy trying to grill the meat on the griller but he was doing a bad job at it. He was fighting with the smoke and unfortunately it kept getting into his eyes making him teary. Arlo chuckled at his sight and yelled:

"Arlo! You better grill that meat properly, or you will eat it all on your own." Axel mocked him jokingly.

"Why don't you come and do it yourself Mister I know it all!" Arlo answered him angrily.

"Well I don't mind… I wouldn't want us to eat raw meat." Axel got up from the outdoor sofa and went to the place where Arlo was grilling the meat. He adjusted the coal in the griller and collected the fork from Arlo and checked if the tenderness of the meat was right. He shot him a toothy smile:

"That's how it's done." He laughed at Arlo's pouting face and said to him.

"You are so cute!"

Ford rolled his eyes at them and continued reading his book in a corner. Those two don't know when to stop playing like kids. He mentally complained to himself before he continued reading his novel. He was engrossed in what he was reading that he didn't even know when Dora stood in front of him.

"I want to see my friend now!" Her sad piercing voice brought him back from his thoughts.

"He raised his eyes to meet hers swiftly with a puzzled face. looking at her closely with a raised browse he smirked at her:

"No one is stopping you honey, go ahead."

She turned away from him and started walking towards the mansion. She surveyed every area she passed until she met with a blond maid. She smiled at her and asked:

"Please can you direct me to where Mahina is?" The Maiden smiled at her and led the way. Soon enough Dora was standing in front of Alba's door. The maid bowed at her a little and left. She pushed the door open and was welcomed by the most exquisite royal bedroom she had ever seen in her life that's after Fords bedroom. She walked further into the room and found Mahina lying on the bed lazily and looking sad.

"Hey bestie!" Mahina jumped from the bed as if she was about to catch something in the air and hugged her friend tightly. Dora smiled back at her friend excitedly. She was anxious to tell her all she had been doing when they were not together. But she could also see that friend had worry written all over her face.

"Bestie please safe me! Take me away from here. I am depressed beyond normal. That Arrogant no good man left me here since in the morning. I would have left the room but I didn't know my way around the mansion and he took my phone away from me…" Dora hugged her tightly before she could finish complaining and said:

"It's okay now bestie… I am here" Dora convinced Mahina not to worry about anything.

"By the way you are lucky… because your number one bestie in the whole world is here to safe you." Dora winked at Mahina with a grin and Mahina knew right away that her friend had some mischievous plan up her sleeves. But she could not be bothered at that time. She was too bored to be bothered.

"That's right! … so where are you taking me to" Mahina answered her excitedly as she got up from the bed.

"Uhm… I don't know precisely but that's why we have each other right?" Mahina nodded as she anxiously awaited Dora to take her out of the bedroom.

"So… it's a luxurious triplex penthouse mansion… and there are many places to explore. I have explored almost every corner of Fords side of the mansion and everything there was simply exquisite"

"Tell me was there anything in particular you liked?" Mahina asked enthusiastically.

"Oh my gosh Hina you should have seen it. His garden was like a real life wonder land. It was situated right in the middle of his penthouse!

"An indoor garden?" Mahina asked with her eyes wide open waiting for Dora's response.

"Yeah! It was so beautiful" Dora exaggerated it by raising her pitch of tone. Mahina became even more excited to snoop around Alba's side of the penthouse mansion. Yesterday she saw what his living area looked like. It was beautiful, everything there spelt royalty and glamour. Now that she was thinking about it her cheeks were burning with shyness. She quickly slapped her cheeks and looked at her friend with anticipation.

Dora dragged her out of Alba's massive room happily as they went for a tour round the penthouse together. Mahina was excited about looking around but she was also reluctant about it. She was scared of Alba making a mountain of the mall hill if she explored his penthouse.

Alba and Althea arrived in a secluded building located at the beach in their separate cars. Althea had begged Alba earlier for them to ride his car together but Alba refused. He didn't want anyone to get in the way of his motive for going to his secret torture house. He was fully aware how bothersome and Petty Althea gets when she is not given any attention. So he insisted that they go in their separate cars. Just in case she starts acting up he would leave her behind and go his way. Alba got out of his car and took off his shades. He was wearing a three quarters jeans trouser and a nice white designer shirt. Alba was looking very handsome under the bright sunlight. And Althea couldn't take her eyes of the gorgeous man.

Alba looked at the building in front of him closely as he started walking towards it. Althea ran after him with a bright smile on her face while calling his name continuously:

"Alba! Alba! Come on wait up …" Alba just continued walking like he didn't hear a thing.

As he was approaching the building closer and closer to it men from different direction of the building lined up behind him. He stopped walking and turned to look at Althea who also stopped walking. He was looking at her right in front of him. She was now looking at him too and waiting for him to talk:

"Althea I understand you followed me to help me but right now you are just pestering me." Althea looked at him apologetically and said:

"Forgive me it won't happen again! I just wanted to walk by your side"
