章 36: Where is Nora?
Nora POV,
For a long time... I have been living or at least trying to live my life as I want.
While being locked inside this room with a large door only having one key that is my happiness in the hands of my father who is banished from society... I am still trying to live...
What does he have?
An act of revenge?
A fit of anger?
Disgust?
With whom? Everyone in society? …me? Who?.
My life was always decided...
What to do and how to do it.
How to walk and how to eat …like a puppet master controlling his doll... I was controlled like my father.
I think half of my life span was reduced when I convinced my father to let me still study after my graduation from the magic school.
Living however I want ...or at least acting like how I want, is like a blessing whenever I am here.
With the friends that support me …love me and enjoy me.
That's when Noah suddenly came into my life.
I was irritated by his presence...
He was beautiful yet rude.
Compassionate yet carefree
He was everything I want to be ... I wanted to be.
The mere thought of him being near me made me angry ... I don't even know why... until he pulled my hand to his heart and confessed.
Love? Me? A puppet?..
My father never built me for love ...he only built me for his ancestor line.
For his lineage to continue...
Being the only family to oppose the humans and helped the supernatural creatures centuries ago.
My great-great-great-grandmother was held responsible for the loss of the war happened. Although, it's not exactly true.
She was skinned alive, pouring hot water on her body.
Torture .... pure torture.
As for his family … Society has thrown our ancestors out of town...
Everywhere they walked …all they heard was a sinners family
Running away to an abandoned monster's lair …they survived.
My father, after learning this story for ages …decided to make this family one of the greatest families in history.
The black mark of a sinner's family has to be washed away with the name of the greatest family.
And that's why he joined me in this magic school...
The thought of changing occurred to him a long back when he saw my grandmother being pushed out of the market in the daylight.
He wanted to change everything.
As being the sinner's family.
Long back …our magic was locked and sealed.
Being normal people who can't fight, we lived a pretty bad life.
My father was pushed out of school just after people learned his surname.
But he was proud.
He never changed our surname.
He was strong.
He survived many wounds given by this rotten society.
He is a good yet scary man.
He is human yet inhuman
he was like a strict wall with me that I can never break or pass
I was like a walking robot …acting like it have feelings for people.
But I changed …people changed me ... Zia changed me … Amber changed me.
Every person I have ever met or seen here …changed me in one or another way...
What does Noah want to change in me now?
He was to give me love while I am not capable of it.
My father raised me in a cold iron cell, giving me food and water only when it is necessary.
Watching him occasionally from far used to give me pleasure.
I wanted him to talk to me …hold me …let me stay with him.
If that's what Noah is feeling for me...
I have long forgotten that feeling.
Or did I?
Not being able to wear the ring he bought me was fun at first.
Until he left me with that sad expression on his face.
It was the first time I have ever seen that kind of expression on his face ...
Did I cause that?
Am I the same as my father?
The fun disappeared
Like black clouds fogging the sky, thoughts fogged in my brain …not living until it pours...
I need to meet him …talk to him ...tell him that 'I am not the one he needs.
And also that "I AM FROM A SINNERS FAMILY"

She closed her diary and walked out of the room while Zia is still sleeping.
While she decided to take a walk outside.
She was slowly walking on the school grounds early in the morning.
She went inside the forest and sat down, using the tree as the support.
Suddenly an eagle sound was heard from a long way.
She stood up, and an eagle landed on her hand.
There is a small note on its leg tied.
She opened it and the eagle flew away.
"Come back home"
Is what is written inside.
"Yes, father" she mumbled.
Without a second thought …she walked out of the school campus as she was.

Zia woke up after her long nap …feeling pretty refreshed and found Nora nowhere after checking the washroom and knocking on Amber's door
After finding that she is nowhere.
They ran to Will.
"What happened?" he asked as soon as seeing them open the door.
"Nora is nowhere," Amber said.
"What do you mean nowhere …did you check everywhere?"
"Yes".
"Call Noah…maybe they both went somewhere," he said.
Charles replied," Noah is here though"
Amber and Zia turned back, seeing Noah and Charles sitting on the couch.
"Actually, Noah is with me all night helping me with sorting out some papers"
"What do you mean Nora is nowhere ?" Noah asked surprised.
"She has the habit of walking up late, but she never left without informing," Zia wrote on her small book and showed him.
"Okay, calm down …" Will said and whistled...
His companion suddenly appeared from the air.
"Search Nora and tell me immediately if you find her," he said, and it disappeared.
"Let's just wait...maybe she is just walking in the woods," Charles said
After an hour …the companion returned
showing the image of what it's seen.
In that, they saw Nora walking inside an abandoned monster lair which was left alone.
But was also being used by "The wolves' family"
"Why is she going inside the wolves' house ?"
Will opened the yearbook and saw Nora has no surname written in that.
"Oh shit"
