章 24: Monsters lair
"Till when should we hide and do things" a man wearing a black cloth over his head asked
The room is completely covered in darkness while the candles are lit at the corners
"untill we know for sure that this will work" Another man replied while mixing a potion of blue liquid
"it's been 11 years since we went into hiding ...she is 11 now and i heard for the first time her body revealed a magic power" the first man said
"what ? ...her power came out?"the second man asked being suprised
"not completely...just a magic shield and also heard will is teaching her magic personally"
"that bastard is the only one who knows where the book is....untill he himself show Zia the book we can't take any step"
"and when will that happen?"
"can't you stay calm ...this potion is very important " he shouted angrily
"i am sorry"

Zia changed her clothes and came down to the forest
Noah and will are sparring with each other
Zia stood at the side and was watching their moves while will saw her
"come here Zia" he called and she walked to him ..
Zia showed him her book in which she already wrote
"i was told to form a magic circle"
"magic circle? why?" will asked
"for getting familiers it's a new subject added two years back ..
but not everyone can summon one ..
only one with highest magic power can get one ..." Noah replied
"i see ...hmm....that book! it's the magic spells book right?" will asked looking at the book in Zia hands
she nodded her head
he took the book from her and opened it. .
"it has a lot of information about all the magic powers and it's spells" he said flipping the pages
"okay lets do it " he said and closed the book
"first feel the power inside your body and try to mix it together with this forest ..
all the powers comes from nature ..
and forest is the best place to get your power out ..
the fire, earth , wind, water sky ..
everything is in nature ..
try to feel it
close your eyes sit on the ground and try to familiarise and feel everything"
Zia nodded her head and closed her eyes

"okay let's stop for today ...it's already night and Zia .. tomorrow is Saturday i will take everyone to a special training ...that place will not be a good one for a beginner so i want you to be careful.." he said and walked back Zia to her dorm while Noah went back to boys dorm
"good night Zia" he said patting her head and walked back to the campus

(next day)
"i am so scared thinking what the special training would be ...your uncle is scary...i am getting chills already" Nora said drying her hair standing infront of the mirror
Zia smiled a little while packing her bag
they got ready and came down the dorm and met Amber waiting there
"why can't you guys get ready fastly" she said angrily
"there is nothing to do in school to arrive fastly" Nora replied
"today is Saturday and once look there" Amber said and Nora and Zia looked side to find a bus and all the students waiting outside
Meanwhile will came out of the school building
Zia,Amber and Nora went near the bus
"good morning everyone...."
"good morning sir" everyone greeted back
"as i said every Saturday there will be a special training..and that special training everytime it will be out of the school grounds in the mosters lair"
"monsters lair?
monsters lair?" everyone started whispering and gasping
Monsters lair is a dark cave where all the monsters like
goblins,orc, troll,gnome,kobold
It is a place where every human will be afraid to enter ..
all the monsters are sealed inside the monster lair so that they cannot come outside past that ...
"get in" he said and one by one everyone hopped the bus
as Zia was about to get in
"Zia, did you wear the emerald necklace i gave you?"
Zia showed the necklace pulling out of her uniform ..
"good, get in"

The bus stopped and one by one everyone got down ..
They gasped as they saw the place ..
It was dark and a small mountain is covered with fog ..
there is a foul smell hitting their nose ..
small whispers,moans and chattering sounds are being heard as if they are being spoken right inside their ears ..
"Some of you maybe have come here once while for some this might be the first time..
so let me explain about this
Monster lair contains of small kinds of monsters such as goblins,orcs, troll,gnome,kobald ..and some other creatures ..
this place is sealed so that they won't step outside while still the monsters being here is not good for humans ..
Everyone here have been practicing magic since they joined the school but never applied it practically..
so today your practice will be practical ..
everyone ..should kill atleast one monster and bring the energy stone inside them ..
before going inside you guys can summon your familiers and also take everything needed for a fight with you..."
everyone started whispering and some took some back steps ..hearing everything..
"anyone who wants to leave can do gladly ..except you won't pass the exam and zero credits will be assigned"
they got afraid also annoyed at the same time hearing will speak ..
it was the first time they ever came out to fight a monster for real ..
They want to back away but they can't do that ..cause this is an exam
"well...well...well...how entertaining" Charles spoke as he walked towards the students ..
everyone started looking at him with pleading eyes ..
"ahh ..those eyes are killing me ...but i can't do anything. this is an exam and you have to pass it" he spoke feeling sympathetic..
"students, just remember why are you using magic ..for what are you learning ..? what purpose ? ..what do you want to do in the future with that magic..?
if you find answer to that question just enter that cave...
