章 129: One's Nature

It was a cold night.

The skies were clear, and the wind was right.

However, the fire that spreads through the forest ignited the light of suffering.

It was outside the previous Plains Elven Tribe, a place that was being torn down by the ravenous fire and humans.

The Elven women were dragged out, while the Elven men had fought to protect the children and their families.

The bandits were taking children and women to cages, tied up to carriages as if to be sold.

There was a child that was taken away, locked in a small cage that had barely fit her, watching the raging fire from the backs of the battle that happened.

It was Aerin. She was still young and small, watching the first raid of the humans cause chaos, destruction, and suffering.

Slowly, there was a figure approaches her cage. A familiar figure that she had been always been with.
